Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how YAT Group Inc. ("CU," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects personal information when you use the CU mobile application, website, and related services (the "Service").
CU is designed to help friends create plans, coordinate arrivals, temporarily share event-related location, chat, invite others, and share photos, videos, stories, and memories from real-world activities.
1. Age Requirement

If you are 16 or older but under the age of majority where you live, you may use CU only with parent or guardian consent where required by law. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a person under 16, we may delete the account and related information, subject to any legal, safety, security, or evidence-preservation requirements.
2. Information We Collect

3. How We Use Information
We use personal information to:
-
Create, authenticate, maintain, protect, and support user accounts.
-
Provide CU features, including plans, events, friend connections, groups, map display, event location sharing, arrival status, event chat, stories, media sharing, invitations, calendar export, push notifications, and Spin the Wheel.
-
Display content and information to the people you choose to interact with through CU, such as friends, event participants, group members, invitees, and people who can view a plan, story, media item, or chat.
-
Operate the two-hour event location-sharing window when enabled by the user: from one hour before the scheduled event start time until one hour after the scheduled event start time.
-
Help users see whether participating friends are on the way, late, or arriving at an event.
-
Process reports, support requests, safety reviews, account restrictions, content removal requests, and enforcement actions. CU does not pre-screen all user content before it is posted.
-
Detect, prevent, investigate, and respond to misuse, spam, fraud, abuse, security incidents, illegal activity, and violations of our Terms of Use or Community Guidelines.
-
Send service messages, support messages, security alerts, invitation links, and push notifications.
-
Analyze app performance, troubleshoot issues, improve the Service, develop new features, and understand how CU is used.
-
Comply with legal obligations, respond to lawful requests, protect rights and safety, preserve evidence where appropriate, and resolve disputes.
4. Event Location Sharing
Location sharing is optional and user-controlled. CU will not collect precise real-time location unless you grant device permission and use a feature that requires it.
When event location sharing is enabled, CU may collect and process precise real-time location for a limited two-hour window: beginning one hour before the scheduled event start time and ending one hour after the scheduled event start time. This feature is designed so event participants can coordinate arrival, see if friends are on the way or late, and meet up more easily.
Your live event location is visible only to authorized participants in the same CU event or plan during the active location-sharing window, subject to your settings and app functionality. If a feature requires reciprocal sharing, users who do not share their own live event location may not be able to see other users’ live event locations.
Location accuracy is not guaranteed and may depend on your device, operating system, connectivity, permissions, sensor accuracy, and mapping services. CU is not an emergency service and should not be relied on for emergency response, personal safety guarantees, legal decisions, medical decisions, or time-sensitive security decisions.
You can disable location permission through your device settings. Disabling location may limit or prevent certain CU features from working as intended.
5. How Information Is Shared
CU is a social app, so some information is shared with other users as part of the Service. We do not sell personal information. We do not sell precise location data. We do not use precise location data for third-party advertising.
5.1 Sharing With Other CU Users
Depending on your settings, permissions, event participation, group membership, and actions, we may share the following with other CU users:
-
Profile information, username, profile photo, friend status, group membership, host status, and basic account identifiers.
-
Plans, events, groups, invitations, RSVP or join status, arrival status, participation details, and event activity.
-
Photos, videos, stories, event media, chat messages, comments, reactions, Spin the Wheel prompts and results, and other user-generated content you choose to share.
-
Precise live event location during the active two-hour event location-sharing window when enabled and applicable.
5.2 Sharing With Service Providers
We may disclose information to trusted service providers that help us operate, secure, analyze, and improve CU. These may include cloud hosting, databases, authentication, mapping, place search, analytics, crash reporting, email, SMS, deep-linking, push notifications, customer support, security, trust and safety, content review tooling, and infrastructure providers. They are authorized to process information only as needed to provide services to us or as otherwise permitted by law.
5.3 Legal, Safety, and Business Transfers
-
We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, subpoena, court order, or valid governmental request.
-
We may disclose information to protect the rights, safety, property, users, or security of CU, YAT Group Inc., or others, including to investigate or report illegal, exploitative, threatening, or harmful conduct.
-
If YAT Group Inc. is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, bankruptcy, or similar transaction, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to appropriate protections.
6. Moderation, Reports, and Safety Reviews
CU does not pre-screen all user content before it is posted. We may, however, process reports, support requests, user content, account activity, technical signals, and related information to enforce our Terms of Use and Community Guidelines, protect users, comply with law, and protect the Service.
If in-app reporting or blocking tools are available, users should use those tools to report suspected violations or block unwanted contact. Users may also contact support@cuitup.com. Reported content, report reasons, related messages, account identifiers, and surrounding context may be processed and retained for safety, legal, and enforcement purposes.

We do not knowingly sell or share personal information of users under 16. You may contact us to exercise applicable California privacy rights, including access, deletion, correction, and information about our data practices.
